New York, New York – Air Canada first dreamliner is set to be delivered later on this month, around May 18th a spokesman for the airline told flightglobal. The first dreamliner ship HPQ will be registered with Air Canada as C-GHPQ took its first flight this past week at Paine Field Airport. Once the first set of aircraft is delivered Air Canada plans to deploy the Dreamliner on route domestic and transatlantic routes to get pilots flight attendant and other crew up to speed with the aircraft; a move, which we have seem done by most if not all airline at first. Once those are complete then Air Canada will begin flights between Tokyo Haneda International Airport, which is set to begin July 1st and later Tel Aviv, both from the airline Hub at Toronto Pearson International Airport in Toronto.
Air Canada Dreamliner backlog includes orders for both the -8 model, which they have a total of 15 on order, and the -9 Dreamliner Air Canada ordered 22 models, each of Air Canada (-)dash 8 Dreamliner is set to be configured with 20 International Business Class Seats, 21 Premium Economy and 210 Economy Class seatings.
