The New Nissan 370Z NISMO

FONTANA DAM, North Carolina  – Nissan gave its fan and enthusiasts this pass Friday at its annual ZDAY even. Nissan took the rappers off its newly update 370Z and added a Nismo badge to create the new Nissan 370Z Nismo. An icon of both the Nissan, Nismo brand and Japan Automakers. Before the GT-R, LFA, 2000GT’, Supa; There was the original Z known then as the Nissan Fairlady Z, Datsun 240Z, Datsun 260Z, Datsun 280Z but we preferred to call it the 240Z, because that was the car that launch Japaneses performance. Launched with a In-line 6 engine that produce just about 150 horsepower with a zero to 60 time of 8.0 seconds; back then 150 HP was a lot its equivalent to around 450HP in today world.

Today we have the newly refresh 370Z Nismo a bad ass car that was updated with inspiration from another bad ass car the GT-R better known as Godzilla. The new 370Z NISMO model features exterior, interior and performance refinements, along with an expanded model selection that includes both 6-speed manual and 7-speed automatic transmissions and a new 370Z NISMO Tech grade.  2015 370Z NISMO is powered by 350-horsepower 3.7-liter DOHC V6 engine with Variable Valve Event and Lift Control (VVEL) with 276 ib-ft of Torque The engine is matched with an exclusive, tuned H-configured exhaust system design, muffler tuning and an optimized calibration is installed to help create 18 horsepower more than a standard 370Z Coupe.

Recently Nissan has been putting out the Nismo name more and more, they introduce more than 3 Nismo badges vehicles over the last six months, from the Juke Nismo RS to the likes of the GT-R Nismo, making Nissan Nismo one of the top performance company out of all its rivals, such as Toyota, Ford, Honda and others. Nismo is giving Chevrolet a very good competition.

For 2015 Nissan is offering the 370Z NISMO Tech model, it adds a hard drive-based Nissan Navigation System with 7.0-inch VGA touch-sensitive display, RearView Monitor, Bose Audio System, SiriusXM Satellite Radio SiriusXM, Streaming Audio via Bluetooth, auto-dimming rearview mirror and HomeLink Universal Transceiver.

Two transmission choices are offered for the first time on the Z NISMO model. The close-ratio 6speed manual transmission features standard SynchroRev Match, the world’s first synchronized downshift rev matching manual transmission, which allows rev-matched heel-toe-like downshifting. Newly available is a refined 7-speed automatic with Downshift Rev Matching (DRM), Adaptive Shift Control and manual shift mode with paddle shifters.




Z370 Nismo revised exterior design features the GT-R  functional and fully integrated aerodynamic bodykit, which Nissan redesigned to provide an aggressive and more aerodynamic appearance. The 370Z also features a front and rear optimizing down force.  370Z, featured a deep front fascia with LED Hyper Daytime Running Lights, black headlight bezels, NISMO emblem and the signature NISMO red stripe accent on the integrated front chin spoiler. The red accent continues down the redesigned side sills, on the black-color side-view mirrors and across the lower portion of the redesigned rear fascia.  The new Z is set to launch with a redesign wheels of the current by RAYS wheel on the 2013-14 model. The redesign is will be 19-inch, with a twin-five spoke design and a charcoal gray machine-finish, this wheel will come standard on the 2015 370Z Nismo.


The new 2015 370Z Nismo features unique NISMO-styled interior enhanced with redesigned black-and-red Recaro leather-appointed seats with Alcantara accents. These new seats, was co-developed with Recar and are design exclusively for the 2015 370Z NISMO. the seats are also design to provide more uniform body pressure and better all direction holding during spirited acceleration, braking and cornering. Nissan believes that the new seats will play a key role in providing driving excitement by maximizing the harmony between driver and machine. The interior also features red seat trim and stitching with NISMO logo, leather-wrapped steering wheel and NISMO red tachometer.
