SMADE Sports (Oct. 31st 2014) INDIANA |  It was a big night for Zach Randolph, he came up big in Grizzlies second win of the season, Zach Randolph who is originally from Indiana gave out over four dozen tickets to friends and family, he didn’t disappoint, Grizzlies trailed by double digest in the third when Randolph and Conley took the game over; both Conley and Randolph combined for 13 points in a 26-2 run to take a 74-63 lead with 2:23 remaining in the third. Randolph scored 11 of his 22 points in the third and added 13 rebounds to lead the Memphis Grizzlies to a 97-89 victory over the Pacers.  Marc Gasol had 20 points and 6 rebounds and Mike Conley added 17 points for the Grizzlies. The Grizzlies had just 9 turnovers and converted on 18 of the Indiana Pacers turnovers into 14 points. Despite poor shooting in the second quarter, Memphis still shot 44.3 percent, thanks to an amazing performance in the 3rd and 4th Quarter in order to seal the game and come out of Indiana with a road win moving The Grizzlies to a 2 – 0 start for the 3rd time in Franchise history, The Grizzlies may have been fueled by their homecoming Memphis has three players on the team who is originally from the Indiana area Mike Conley and Courtney Lee are from Indianapolis, and Randolph from Marion, Indiana.

“We played with a lot more aggressiveness in the second half,” Memphis coach David Joerger said. “They weren’t able to get up as many shots and get up by as many points in the second half.”

With Indiana big injury to Paul George, and David West, who didn’t play tonight and the world no, Paul George maybe out for the year, do to the broken foot he suffered during the USA Basketball Blue vs Red Game. The lost of Lance Stephenson to Hornets and George Hill, out many wonder how will the Pacers stack up this year after coming just 2 win short of the NBA finals the last 2 years. Played amazing tonight Chris Copeland came off the bench to give Pacers a lift in the scoring department and lead the team with 16 points and 6 rebounds in 32 mins on 5/14 shooting; C.J. Miles added 13; Rodney Stuckey had 11 Damjan Rudez 8 and Donald Sloan with 12. Lavoy Allen lead the team in rebound with 10. Roy Hibbert, the only original starter for the Pacers, finished with 8 points and 8 rebounds in 26 minutes. Roy Hibbert however came up with a major block on Zach Randolph.

Memphis will travel to North Carolina to take on the Jordan’s Charlotte Hornets Saturday night game time 7:00pm EST
This Pacers team will have to look at this game as a win and build on it; as 3 of their next 4 games will be on the road but first Indy will stop at the Philips Arena in Atlanta to battle the Hawks Saturday night, game time; 7:30 PM EST.
